Michael Wortman, D.D.S.

Dr. Wortman has been with Dental Associates for over 30 years. He is a general dentist who is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. 

 He has been a guest lecturer for both Georgetown University School of Dentistry and the District of Columbia Dental Society, advised Proctor and Gamble’s Dental Division, served five years on the Northern Virginia Dental Society’s Patient Relations Committee, and recently served as an expert in the judicial system on matters concerning proper dental procedures. Originally from New York City, Dr. Wortman graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1972.

Dr. Wortman and his wife, Linda, have been married for 41 years and live in Fairfax.  Their son, David, is an attorney who also lives in Fairfax with his wife, Karla, and their daughter, Olivia, who, of course, is the light of her proud grandfather’s life.

Dr. Wortman is a sports fanatic who has coached and refereed youth soccer for 10 years.  He is also a Washington Nationals season ticket holder.  Dr. Wortman’s other interests include computers and photography.  He has combined these latter two into a new hobby of computerized video editing where a collection of photographic memories are transformed into a video album.
