Leo Sushner, D.D.S.

Dr. Sushner, a member of Dental Associates for over 25 years, has specialized in periodontics and implant dentistry since 1980 and currently practices at the Falls Church, Fair Oaks, and Springfield locations. He’s also a member of The American Academy of Periodontology, The Implant Society of Northern Virginia, The American and Virginia Dental Associations, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society.   

A native of Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Sushner received his BS from Long Island University in 1970 and his DDS from Meharry Medical College in 1974, Dr. Sushner completed his graduate studies in periodontics at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Leavenworth, Kansas and the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1977. He has served as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Periodontics at Georgetown and Meharry Dental Schools.

Dr. Sushner has 3 children and one grandson living in the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area. He enjoys fishing, boating, hiking and reading in his off time.
